Depending on how the user interacts with us, we may collect:

a) Booking and accommodation data: first name, surname, ID card/passport, date of birth, postal address, phone, email, dates of stay, credit card details (through a secure payment gateway) and room preferences.

b) Contact data: name, email, phone and message when the user fills in the contact form.

c) Browsing data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent, cookies (see the Cookie Policy).

d) Data required by law: identity and stay data, in compliance with the regulations on traveller registration and reporting to the Spanish State Security Forces (Royal Decree 933/2021).

3. Purposes of Processing

The data collected is processed in order to:

  • Manage bookings and provide the contracted accommodation service.
  • Issue invoices and comply with tax and accounting obligations.
  • Comply with the legal obligation to report travellers to the authorities.
  • Answer enquiries and requests for information.
  • Send commercial communications about our services, offers and promotions (only with the user's express consent).
  • Improve the browsing experience and the services of the website.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

  • Performance of the accommodation contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • Compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6.1.c GDPR): tax, accounting and traveller registration regulations.
  • Consent of the data subject (Art. 6.1.a GDPR) for handling enquiries sent through the contact form or by email, for sending commercial communications and for non-essential cookies.
  • Legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) for improving the service.

5. Data Retention

Data will be kept for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected and, where applicable, for the legally established periods:

  • Accounting and tax data: 6 years (Spanish Commercial Code).
  • Traveller registration data: 3 years (Royal Decree 933/2021).
  • Data for commercial communications: until the user withdraws consent.

6. Recipients of the Data

Data may be disclosed to:

  • The competent public authorities (Spanish Tax Agency, State Security Forces, etc.) in compliance with legal obligations.
  • Service providers needed to provide the service (RoomRaccoon booking engine, payment gateway, email (Google Workspace), website hosting, tax and accounting advisers), acting as data processors under contract.
  • Data will not be transferred to third parties for commercial purposes without the user's express consent.

No international data transfers are made outside the European Economic Area, except to providers offering adequate safeguards (standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission).

7. User Rights

Anyone may exercise the following rights at any time:

  • Access to their personal data.
  • Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure of data when it is no longer necessary.
  • Objection to processing.
  • Restriction of processing.
  • Data portability.
  • Withdrawal of consent given.
  • Not to be subject to automated decisions.

To exercise these rights, the user may send an email to [email protected] stating the right they wish to exercise and attaching a copy of their ID card or identity document.

The user also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) if they consider that their rights have not been properly addressed.

BULEVAR SAN JAIME S.L. has adopted the technical and organisational measures necessary to guarantee the security, integrity and confidentiality of personal data, preventing its alteration, loss, processing or unauthorised access.
